Beauty Spy is born

About Simone
Simone has been a hair and beauty professional for more than 20 years - from managing salons to becoming a successful freelance hair and makeup artist, working in TV, fashion and the music Industry.

Deciding to have a family and needing a base, Simone took over a small hair salon. She studied business and implemented procedures and structures so she could continue her freelance work and spend time at home with her family. Simone turned the small business into a boutique hair, beauty and tanning salon with six staff. Three and a half years later she negotiated a very successful sale and realised her new passion - the 'business side of hairdressing'.

After selling her salon and moving suburbs, Simone was looking for somewhere to take care of her hair and beauty needs.
After trying many local salons she noticed a distinct lack of customer service and care.

Simone saw the need for a mystery client service, designed specifically for the hair and beauty industry. Beauty Spy was born.

We are consistently researching, emailing surveys to the general public and encouraging our salon owners and their team for feedback so we can accurately identify what is needed and can keep improving on it.
